While this seems to be the most direct and cost-effective method, the reality is the manufacturers’ sales group do not have the time to dedicate to each potential client.
Some salespeople will collect customer drawings and specs and turn into the office to do the estimating and writing of contracts while they are on the road to find the next building to quote (it’s all about the number of quotes to the manufacturers), where’s the personal experience? Sales professionals are hired to bring as many opportunities as possible to the manufacturer.
