DeHaan Building Solutions is a Limited Liability Tulsa construction company specializing in Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings and components. Our mission is to bridge the gap between the Building Manufactures and General Contractors/End-Owners offering products and services that the typical metal building manufacturers do not. Traditional means of building sales consist of General Contractors working directly with the Manufactures via sales reps. While this seems to be the most direct and cost effective method, the reality is the manufacturers sales group do not have the time to dedicate to each potential client. Some sales people will collect customer drawings and specs and turn into the office to do the estimating and writing of contracts while they are on the road to find the next building to quote (it’s all about the number of quotes to the manufacturers). Where is the personal experience? That is where we are different. We spend the much needed time on the front end to help the client decide on the best option for their business.

Scott got his degree in Architectural Construction, Engineering Technology at Western Iowa Tech Community College in Sioux City, Iowa. Through the years Scott has worked for such companies as Stran Buildings, Nucor Building Systems, Metallic Building Systems, and Iron City Buildings. Scott’s jobs have been in Detailing, Estimating, Customer Service, Outside Field Sales, Product Development. Over time, Scott noticed a growing need in our community: builders and storage end owners were struggling to find reliable, local sources for high quality metal buildings. Working for such large companies in so many fields, Scott decided to go into business for himself in 2019 as Dimensions LLC in Cullman, Alabama. Scott felt that this way he could give much more personal, detailed, and quality service on building Pre-engineered metal buildings on his own where customers weren’t just a number but came with a name, with that name came long term relationships and repeat customers. He knew that he could deliver faster lead times and save the customer money. The customer knew they could always reach him and not a front desk secretary that would pass the customers “Please call back…” to the contractor who had others in his call back basket. Scott wanted every customer to have his personal number so the customer could get in touch personally with him and not have to wait days for a call back.

DeHaan Building Solutions believes in serving our community both through financial support and volunteer work. We are a faith based company who views our business as a platform to make a positive impact not just by building metal buildings Tulsa but by helping build our community through generosity, service and putting our faith into action. For years our family has been volunteering downtown Tulsa on Thursday nights for the homeless community with Night Light Tulsa (City Lights Foundation). Whether it be serving food, handing out clothing and hygiene necessities, or Mary joining a team cutting hair for free. They meet every Thursday under the bridge at 202 N Maybelle, Tulsa, OK, 7-9 p.m.
As supporters of City Light Foundation we are dedicated to helping invest in the City Lights Village which is now in construction. This village is a 23 acre master planned community that is helping vulnerable Tulsans experiencing homelessness insecurity. This neighborhood will provide affordable, permanent housing with supportive services to foster stability, dignity and hope for the friends who call City Lights Village a home.

By God blessing our company, we were able to donate a very much needed brand new 4 person ATV in 2023 to City Light Village.
We are happy to provide help for City of Lights as each home in this community costs approximately $75,000. They are only to build them as each one is sponsored and paid for. It is our goal to help sponsor as many homes as possible.
